Fall Down the Mountain
Bear Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park
f/9 | 1/40s | 22mm | ISO 320
One calm fall morning, I hiked up an unmarked path to find some changing aspen leaves. In the dark of the morning, I could barely see which trees were aspens and which had colorful leaves. I eventually settled on a location just above this spot and as the sun rose, it illuminated the colorful fall leaves of the aspen trees. I was able to scamper on down and find this composition when the morning sun illuminated the smoky air with an orangish-yellow hue.
