Greece Lightning
Heraklion, Greece
f/9 | 15s | 50mm | ISO 400
Lighting is by far one of my favorite subjects to photograph, not only because it is unpredictable and unique, but also a challenge to capture. An incoming storm was brewing as we arrived in Heraklion and that boat ride over was when I broke my tripod, an essential item to capturing lightning. I was able to use a nearby rock to stabilize the camera as not one, but two bolts seemed to kiss the peak of the nearby mountain.
