Spring Wonderland
Longs Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park
f/8 | 1/3200s | 70mm | ISO 125
With another spring snowstorm in the forecast, I decided to brave the cold and explore some more of Rocky Mountain National Park. During a majority of the hike, the mountain peaks were covered by a thick layer of snow clouds and I quietly soaked in the views, but it did not warrant taking out my camera gear. By the time I was returning, the sunlight broke through the clouds and illuminated the most magnificent scene and I quickly unstrapped my backpack to grab this shot.
