Mother's Love
Somewhere in the Wilderness
f/6.3 | 1/100s | 600mm | ISO 4000
What a special day!!
Yesterday, on my way home from a long day taking photographs of the fall color, I was fortunate to come across a pair of black bears! I have seen bears in the wild a few times, but I’ve never had my camera. I was so lucky to have everything I needed and I quickly pulled over to the side of the road and got set up. I watched the mother bear for a while and to my delight, her cub emerged from the underbrush. They seemed to pose for the camera briefly before heading off and out of sight. I’m so happy I was able to cross another photo off my bucket list!
For those interested, this was taken with a 600mm lens, and the photo was cropped. Never approach wildlife, especially if they have younglings!
