After the Thaw
Two Rivers Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park
f/8.0 | 1/8s | 16mm | ISO 500
This is one of my favorite times of year, where there is still a lot of snow on the ground, but the lakes are starting to thaw. After a brutal winter, we are beginning to be able to see reflections in the water again. I arrived at the lake just before sunrise and was instantly in awe of the scene before me. After the light had gone, I sat at the lake for a good while, soaking in the beauty. I was sitting there so long, that a fox ran by without noticing me!
