Night Sky Photography in the Rocky Mountains

Join me to experience the stars like never before. At over 13,000 feet, the stars shine brighter, making the milky way visible to the naked eye. Learn how to photograph the night sky, how to paint with light, or how to capture star trails all while being immersed deep in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Night Sky Photography Sessions will begin between 8pm and 9pm.
No timed entry pass or entry fee is required!
0-1 Miles: Night Sky Photography up on Trail Ridge Road. Here, we will learn how to set our cameras to be able to capture the milky way.
1-5 Miles: Night Sky Photography at a lake in the park. Here, we will practice light painting, star trails, and milky way photography.
Suggested Equipment: Camera that can shoot in manual, tripod, lens that opens to f2.8 or lower, headlamp.
